Soft Landing Program
The Soft-Landing Program at the Manipal–GoK Bioincubator (M-GoKB) is designed for startups from outside the region, state, or country who want to enter the Karnataka or Indian market with the support of a strong research and innovation ecosystem. This program provides short-term access to infrastructure, mentorship, regulatory insights, and local industry connections—helping external startups smoothly transition into the Indian market or collaborate with local partners.

Eligibility Criteria
- Registered startup in home country/state with valid documents
- Strong intent to explore expansion or collaboration in India
- Alignment with biotechnology, life sciences, med-tech, healthcare, or deep-tech sectors
- Willingness to follow all local compliance and incubator policies
- A clear plan for short-term engagement and deliverables
How to Apply
- Submit the Soft-Landing application form with company details
- Provide background on intended expansion, collaboration, or technical goals
- Internal assessment of requirements and feasibility
- Virtual presentation to the Incubation Program Committee (IPC)
- Approval followed by agreement signing and onboarding
Fees & Plans
- Short-term program fee based on selected package
- Lab and instrumentation usage billed as per actual usage
- Security deposit applicable depending on residency duration
- Additional support services (market research, regulatory advisory) available on request
- Standard invoicing and payment cycles apply
Exit & Graduation
- Graduation upon completing planned soft-landing activities
- Assistance in transitioning to Resident/Virtual/Co-Incubation if needed
- Early exit allowed on written request
- Discontinuation in case of non-compliance or inactivity
- Graduated companies receive continued access to ecosystem connections and alumni benefits
