Trivia Night (Informal Event)

The Trivia Night, held at the Student Plaza (MIT), was a lively and well-attended event featuring energetic performances by M-Chords (MCODS) and Chords and Co. (MIT). Engaging activities like Ring-a-Gift, Guess, Scribble, and the crowd-favorite Bottle Flip kept participants entertained throughout the evening. A photo booth added to the fun, and the Lucky Draw offered exciting prizes. The event successfully created a vibrant, interactive atmosphere, fulfilling its goal of public engagement and raising recruitment awareness.

PSPH Students Facility Tour

The tour commenced on the third floor, which houses the wet lab facilities.Here, the students had the opportunity to observe a range of advanced equipment, including the Cell Culture Lab, Microbiology Lab, Pharmacology setup, and fermentation equipment. Next, the groups moved to the first floor, known as Bionest, which focuses on engineering and manufacturing resources. In this section, students were introduced to high-tech tools such as 3D scanners, waterjet cutting machines, laser engravers, and packaging machinery.

War of Words – Debate Competition

Held at MMMC Room 3A, the War of Words debate competition saw participation from five teams, with engaging discussions on topics related to science, technology, and societal issues. The event featured three eliminatory rounds, judged by Dr. Arvind Kumar Pandey (KMC), Satyakam Sir (MIT), and Santosh Nayak (Department of Commerce). Participants showcased impressive research, critical thinking, and persuasive skills, making the debates lively and insightful.

The session featured valuable insights from guest speakers Mr. Ajay T. (ESO, Manipal), Dr. Santushti Gupta (TAPMI), and Dr. Rajiv Shah (TAPMI).

RESUPRO

RESUPRO, an online resume-building workshop, was conducted via Microsoft Teams to help students craft tailored and impactful resumes. The session was led by guest speaker Dr. Virendra S. Ligade, Associate Professor at MCOPS. With over 80 attendees, the workshop provided practical tips and strategies for effective resume writing, followed by an interactive Q&A session. The event successfully equipped students with valuable tools to enhance their professional profiles and confidently pursue their personal goals.

Open Mic! (Informal Event)

The Open Mic event, held at Student Plaza, MIT, in collaboration with media partner SPECTRA MCHP, aimed to promote awareness about the upcoming flagship event, Business Cartel. The event drew an enthusiastic crowd, with participants showcasing their musical talents on instruments like the guitar and flute. Adding to the experience were unique activities such as a book exchange and entrepreneurial tarot card reading, which sparked curiosity and engagement. The event successfully created a lively, interactive environment while building anticipation for Business Cartel.

Flagship Event – Business Cartels

E-Cell successfully hosted Business Cartel, a dynamic entrepreneurial event featuring four engaging competitions:

1. *Pitch Perfect* – Participants showcased innovative pitches judged by Dr. Mahalasa Kini and Dr. Parayan Sarkar.
2. *Brand Heist* – Teams tackled crisis scenarios, evaluated by Riya Singh, Debjyoti, Shivpranav, and Rachit Shetty.
3. *S.C.A.M* – Quick-thinking challenges were judged by Dr. Nirmal Mazumdar and Dr. Budheswar Dehury.
4. *Escape Room (Bhoolbhulaiya)* – Teams solved puzzles under time pressure.

The event catered to 52 teams and fostered creativity, strategy, and teamwork, attracting budding entrepreneurs and problem-solvers.
